We're B&W, PVCu window and door specialists based in Cumbernauld. We're not the world's largest window company and, frankly, we don't want to be. We're a smaller business, fully in touch with our customers and their needs. Our aim is to supply a high quality product for a fair price and to offer the best possible service to homeowners and to trade customers.

We've been in the industry long enough to have seen plenty of changes, but customer satisfaction remains key. We use the best components from respected suppliers and fabricate our frames to exceptional standards. We'll never try to confuse you with crazy offers or sell you something that doesn't meet your requirements. Instead, we offer all of our experience and know-how to ensure that your new windows, doors and conservatories are exactly what you wanted.

Please take some time to look at our site and if there's anything else you need to know, contact us. We like talking about windows and we promise not to come on heavy with the "hard sell".

Between the three of us, we have over 90 years of glazing industry experience although sometimes it feels like a lot longer! But, joking aside, we've made our business successful by working together to get things right, not just some of the time, but every time. We use our differing skills in the best way. Brian, for example, is an expert surveyor, brilliant at spotting potential problems with a proposed installation and developing solutions that really work.

Typically, there are opening panes combined with fixed panes, but almost any layout, shape or size is possible. We make casement windows using Profile22's proven systems. The frames are elegant, with a slim, chamfered profile which allows masses of natural light into your home. A multi-chambered construction ensures that these windows are strong and insulating. Fitted with energy-efficient glazing units, our casement windows will keep your home warm, weatherproof and secure.

Tilt and Turns hinge at the base, tilting into the room for ventilation. With a turn of the handle, they become side hinged and can be opened right into the room. In addition to being very practical, tilt and turns offer simple, sleek lines and with Profile 22's slimline window systems more daylight floods into your home.

The real beauty is a large opening area, great for smaller apertures, which can also provide a handy emergency exit! We make our French windows using slimline profiles made by Profile 22. These systems are recognised as being durable, very strong and easy to maintain. Because we use energy-efficient glazing, our French windows can achieve a fantastic Band 'A' Window Energy Rating.

Modern PVCu sash windows have all the grace and style of the timber originals but are warm, weatherproof and secure. Even better, they won't warp or rot and never need painting. These windows are feature packed. They slide easily on smooth balance mechanisms but also tilt inwards to make cleaning really easy. They are secure and safe with optional child safety restrictors and multi-point locks. Wool-pile seals prevent drafts and double-glazed units provide superb insulation.

We can make circular frames, arched or gothic shaped frames or any number of custom designs. Our precision-made, shaped windows are made from the same systems as our other frames for a perfectly matched installation and are expertly glazed to the highest standards.

They have to protect and insulate your home from the elements, they have to be secure and strong, but they should also provide a warm welcome to your visitors. B&W offer a range of doors for front and rear entrances as well as statement features like bi-folding and inline sliding doors. Every door, whatever its purpose, is measured expertly for a perfect fit and fabricated to the highest standards possible. We believe in using the best components, so we select top name, guaranteed hardware, locks and hinges that won't let you down.

It's very strong and capable of standing up to the trials of a busy home, but it's lightweight with inherent insulating qualities as well. PVCu doors are simple to maintain - a quick wipe with a mild detergent will keep the door looking good and performing well for years. Our PVCu doors are great for front or rear entrances. They can be made in almost any style and can be solid panel, partially or half-glazed, or even fully-glazed. With optional side panels to suit wider openings, PVCu doors are versatile, and because we use robust locks and steel reinforced frames they are also very secure.

Composite doors consist of a high-density foam core sealed inside a glass reinforced plastic (GRP) skin. The skin is moulded to replicate the natural grain of timber, but the colours and finishes of a composite door won't fade, scratch or need painting. What's more, these doors are tough, highly insulating and supplied with secure multi-point locking.

Inline sliding doors can have 2, 3 or 4 panes and it's up to you which panes are fixed and which ones slide. We use purpose-made tracks and rollers, so the opening pane glides easily. When closed, our sliding doors are secured with multiple hook locks and have anti-jacking technology to prevent panes being levered from their tracks.

And, when it's chilly, those efficiently glazed panes will allow you a superb view of your winter garden and fill your home with natural light. B&W bi-folding doors are supplied with toughened safety-glass throughout, secure multi-point locks and efficient seals to protect your home from the elements. They are available in a range of stylish colours to complement your home. If you want, you can even pick a different finish for the interior and exterior surfaces.

Their classic, symmetrical style is still as popular as ever with their wide opening area giving uninterrupted views outdoors. As well as being perfect for access to a patio or decking, French doors are ideal for conservatories, garden offices and sun-lounges. French doors are very adaptable: where you want to create a "wall of glass" effect, you can combine matching side panels. Choose Astragal bars, midrails or leaded feature glass for period properties.

We've chosen to use Profile 22's systems for our conservatories because they offer not only stylish good looks and a great choice of features but also proven performance. When you choose a B&W conservatory, we'll guide you through the options step by step, taking into consideration how you are planning to use your beautiful new space and the location and exposure of your site.
