With over ten years experience and thousands of people across the country benefiting from our service, Eclipse is by far the best option when considering insulation for your conservatory. The Eclipse System benefits from the application of genuine 19 layer Superquilt multi-foil insulation blanket. Superquilt is the world's highest performance CN certified multi-foil on the market today.

It has full certification with LABC (local area building control) and is BDA agrement certified for use in Europe. It is the ONLY multi-foil insulation to use grade "A" highly reflective aluminium foil (unlike most other multi-foils). Eclipse is both lightweight and flexible, 70% lighter than a plasterboard and timber installation and also benefiting from the use of a high strength polymer bonding agent thus eliminating the need for screw fixings.

Every screw drilled into your roof could result in a potential leak and would also invalidate any guarantee / warranty still remaining with your conservatory manufacturer.

The insulation used has been tested by the manufacturer and is found to provide an impressive uValue of around 0.19 on a traditional roof application. Finally, decorative pvc boards of your choice are bonded to the frame, the smooth white boards and tongue and groove boards both offer a white finish. There is also a continuous ventilation gap of approximately 15mm between the insulation and the panels.

The conservatory is full South facing so as well as being very hot it had a lot of glare making reading particularly quite difficult. This has now been vastly improved by both the lining and and some Solar privacy film in the top apex which very effectively cuts the glare. The ceiling looks smart and clean and also seems to have stopped the flies gathering in the roof apex, an added bonus!. Ordering was very quick and effective thanks to Tracey and the price was very reasonable.

A As stated on this site the combined weight of all components fitted is no more than 1.5kg/m2, which is over 70% lighter than conventional materials. A The insulation will greatly reduce the formation of condensation on the ceiling but we always recommend further measures to help reduce it to a minimum i.e. the effective use of air extraction in kitchens and bathrooms and if the problem is particularly bad we would recommend the use of a dehumidifier.
