We first opened for business in 1989, starting with a small bespoke joinery workshop in Accrington and have been serving Lancashire, and the rest of the UK, ever since. We offer a full range of services, ranging from small local projects to major national work, and everything in between. We also specialise in Direct Glazing Green Oak framed buildings and offer a full bespoke service.

Repair or replace?
Where possible we always aim to restore features with traditional techniques but if necessary we will replace sections with reclaimed timber, reworked to appear authentic & match any existing wood finish.
We can recreate old oak architectural joinery work, interior oak framed walls, doors and casings and also produce that extra special period joinery work that you may require.
Our Bespoke timber windows are designed with a range of innovative design features that combine traditional aesthetics with modern technology.
The below specification details are a minimum standard we look to achieve on our windows/doors.
Any Bespoke profile of cill, frame thickness, finish and ironmongery options are available together with your choice of timber sash option.
Traditional butt hinges and casement stays, or modern high security espagnolette locking systems are also available.
To BS 644, Our glazed window/door designs are tested to BS6375 Part 1 Min whole product U value of 1.6 for windows & 1.8 for doors, They are designed to achieve minimum BS6375 Part 2 ratings of Air 600pa, - Watertightness 150pa - Wind-load 1200pa class 3 for outstanding weather resistance to cope with most British climate conditions.
At Topworks we endeavor to ensure that our quotation encompasses all costs that are likely to be incurred.
If for any reason you wish to make changes to the original specification, then we will agree price implications before the work starts so that you aware of the costs.
We will not add costs that you do not know about.
We will not change the agreed quotation after the work has started unless you make requests to change the specification.
Once the cost of your project has been agreed you will be asked for a material deposit to confirm your order.
